Melia Caribe

Two years ago Allan and I got married in the Dominician Republic at the Melia Caribe Resort. These are some pictures I scrapbooked of the resort in a double 12x12 layout. With all this cold weather I am really wishing I was back there. It was paradise.

Still Sale-a-Brating!!!

This is a card and 6x6 scrapbook page that uses the Botanical Blooms set from the Sale-a-Bration Cataolgue which runs until the end of March. I must say that I am really liking all the items for this catalogue. I think Stampin' Up! has really outdone themselves on this one.
I made this combo at my last Stampin' Up! meeting. Thanks Darlene (my upline) for providing such great projects for us.

Bloomin' Beautiful and Craft Room Update

I think this is a nice multipurpose card. It could be a "Thank You" card, a "Birthday" card or even a "Just Because" card. The possibilities are endless.
My craft room is now furnished and I am in the process of finding a home for everything. You don't realized how much stuff you have until you are forced to go through and organize it all. In our last house I stored all my stuff in a closet so organization wasn't always possible. Now that I have a whole room, I can't see how I fit everything in that closet (lol). I am tempting to post some pictures of how it looks right now but I may regret showing everyone my mess. Have a great day.

Stamps: Bloomin' Beautiful
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Kraft, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery
Accessories: Stampin' Dimensionals, 2-way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds (on bee), Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Double Rectangle Punch, Cutter Kit

A Family Affair

This is the swap card I made for my last Stampin' Up! meeting. I made 25 of them. The funny part is that I got everyone involved in this one. I had my step mom taping ribbon, my dad was applying dimensionals and I even had my husband cutting ribbon and coloring flowers. There was a real assembly line happening.
The Designer Series paper I used on this card is part of the Sale-a-bration promotion and you can get it free when you place a $60.00 Stampin' Up! order with me.

Stamps: Sweet Stems, Embrace Life
Paper:Delicate Dots DSP, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Certainly Celery Marker, Bashful Blue Marker
Accessories: Stampin' Dimensionals, Mellow Moss Taffeta Ribbon

My Craft Room

WooHoo!!! My craft room is finally finished. We still need to assemble all the furniture with the famous Ikea Allen Key and move all my crafting supplies in. I have a feeling I'm going to be really busy organizing over the next couple of days. Wish me luck.....

Happy Anniversary to Me!!!

Thursday was mine and Allan's 2nd and 15th anniversary. 2 years married and 15 years together (we got married on our first date anniversary). We didn't do much. It was hard enough to get through a 1 hour dinner with a tired 7 month old boy. But I am definitely not ready to leave my little man with a babysitter yet.
This is the card I gave Allan for our anniversary. It is my version of a swap I received about a month ago. The stamp set I used is one of the free stamp sets you can receive if you place a $60.00 Stampin' Up! order with me. For more info on earning free stamps click on the Sale-a-bration Catalogue link in my sidebar.

Stamps: Polka Dot Punches, Hugs & Wishes
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, Brushed Gold, Whisper White (for inside of card)
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Gold Embossing Powder
