Take It Tuesday
Don't look too closely at this card. At the last minute I decided to flip it and put the ribbon on the hotdog way. Of course that was after I stamped all my images and taped on my ribbon. Something just wasn't clicking when it was vertical. But I like it this way. I think I will make it again with all the stamped images going the right way.
The little silver dots on the embossed white layer was done by dipping my stylus into my platinum shimmer paint and then dabbing it on the cardstock. That gives you a nice little dot. Of coarse the more paint you put on your stylus, the bigger your dot will be.
This card is part of Take It Tuesday. If you leave a comment on this blog post (click here to go to my blog if you are reading this from Facebook), you will be entered to win a free card kit with enough supplies to make 5 copies of this card (minus the adhesive and stamped images). You have until midnight May 4/10. I will pick a winner on Wednesday.
Stamps: Itty Bitty Bits, Teeny Tiny Wishes (just realized the small names lol I'm such a dork)
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Brushed Silver
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Basic Black, Platinum Shimmer Paint
Accessories: Pretty in Pink striped grosgrain, Slot Punch, Big Shot, Perfect Details Texturz Plate, Lots of Tags sizzlit, Large Oval Punch, Small Oval Punch, Scallop Border Punch, Stylus, Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Snail Adhesive
So soft, gentle and sweet! Where do you live that you're getting snow on May 4th??? I've heard of it in April, but never May - and we're having 80 - 90 degrees here in SC. Crazy weather, but both are conducive to staying inside and stamping - I might have to case this sweet card! Thanks for sharing. Jean

What a beautiful card! The little silver dots really caught my attention. Snow, good grief, it is in the 90s here in No. Virginia.

Love it, love it. Definitely will be casing this one. I love the silver dots & was very curious as to how you did that. Thanks for sharing. We're having tons of rain today. Thankfully it's not snow otherwise we'd be "socked in" in Newfoundland.

Your card is really cute! Love the embossing. Sorry to hear about your snow. That would not be welcome around here in May. I think we are supposed to be 78 degrees today. I haven't plants my plants yet either. My mother's rule of thumb was Mother's Day was fairly safe so I'll plant this weekend if it's dry enough. Thanks for the chance to win. Have a great day!

I really like what you did with this card. And creativity is the key to stamping. So you changed the ribbon. People who receive this card would just think about how creative you are and they may not even notice what you did.
